Due to the complexity of managing multiband RFICs, several calibration techniques and parameters must be selected when using a particular operation setup, such as setting I/Q imbalance compensation filters coefficients, selecting sampling and carrier frequencies and low pass filter cutoff frequency, etc. Therefore, these RFICS, such as the Analog Device AD9361 and LMS6002 ICs, can be adequately managed via a soft processor. The following figure shows an example of an Eigencomm’s architecture for managing the AD9361 RFIC using a RISCV soft processor, simplifying the complexity and cost of the main system’s processor.
Eigencomm’s experience in wireless transmitters allow to provide services related to integrate RFICs into designs defined by the client. Contact Eigencomm for further information.
At Eigencomm ® we are interested in the growing deployment of new wireless systems that seek to meet the growing demand for telecommunications services. Therefore, Eigencomm ® helps companies, universities and research centers in the development, implementation and validation of new wireless communication systems and/or high-performance digital processing systems. Likewise, comprehensive advice is offered on the performance validation of point-to-point and multi-point communications systems in highly dispersive propagation environments.
